Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) Paste is an anionic surfactant commonly used in the manufacture of personal care and cleaning products such as shampoos, body washes, dishwashing liquids, and laundry detergents. It is a white or light yellow, viscous paste that is soluble in water and alcohol.SLES Paste is produced by ethoxylation of lauryl alcohol and subsequent sulfation of the resulting ethoxylated product. The resulting compound has excellent foaming and emulsifying properties, making it an effective cleanser and surfactant. It is also a mild irritant and can be used in formulations for sensitive skin.
